 Welcome to my website dictated to developing solutions and  IP to help our embattled planet. 

Let's get the name out of the way; Its named for my grandfather Cornelius whose name was shortened to Cornu. He was an early pioneer of ecology and conservation and I learned my love of the Bushveld and all its inhabitants from him. 

So back to the purpose of the website. Here we delve into the heart of conservation, eco-sensitivity, and our profound spiritual connection with the natural world. Hailing from Namibia, a land adorned with the ancient Namib desert and awe-inspiring landscapes, our journey begins amidst the striking beauty and inherent challenges of this remarkable region. 

Growing up in Namibia, I was intimately acquainted with the intricate balance of nature and the significance of preserving it. The arid expanse of our home taught me early on about the preciousness of resources, particularly water – a rarity that shaped our daily lives. The simple act of turning on a tap was a luxury, and the essential amenities that many take for granted, such as running water and electricity, were not guaranteed in every household.

In such an environment, the essence of conservation is not an abstract concept but a way of life. It's a constant reminder that the choices we make today reverberate through the delicate ecosystems and impact future generations. Whether it was the resilient flora and fauna of our land, the cherished pets that shared our lives, or the majestic creatures inhabiting the wild, a deep-rooted connection to animals was woven into the fabric of our culture.

The challenges we faced living in a vast, untamed landscape reinforced our understanding of the fragility of our planet. The necessity of traveling long distances – sometimes up to 200 kilometers – to access basic provisions underscored the importance of responsible consumption and resource management. It was a lesson in resilience, innovation, and adapting to the environment's demands, all while keeping an eye on our carbon footprint.
